At the beginning of chapter 11 I found it amusing that Huck was pretending to be a girl just so the lady wouldn't know he was...well him. As the chapter continued and The woman told Huck about his fake death i was slightly confused on why thi was so important to add to the book. I seen after a while that it was just leading up t when Huck and Jim were both being chased by people.
Durning chapter 12 i couldn't seem to focus on the storyline. I didn't understand who the men on the boat where and why they were so important. The dialogue between the men could be cut out an Hucks action still been justified and mentioned without a problem.
Chapter 13 made me see why the men in 12 were so important. They were also looking for the boat that Huck and Jim wanted to get away from the area they lived. In chapter 14 i just got confused and lost and wasn't able to figure out what they were saying so i kinda gave up and decided to move on with the story.
